Thankfully, the industry started to take note of our needs with the growing natural hair movement, which fought for more accessibility to diverse haircare brands. Soon, companies like Shea Moisture, Mixed Chicks and Carol's Daughter became household names that we could rely on—whether we were just starting ournatural hair journeysor needed a new product to elevateour wash routines.
