These days, I can hardly keep track of Rihanna’s business ventures. There’s Savage X, Fenty Beauty, Fenty and now, Fenty Skin. Then there’s her charity, theClara Lionel Foundation. Oh yeah, and you can’t forget her wildly successful music career aka the catalyst of them all. I’ve been a fan of hers since the ‘Pon de Replay’ days and instantly want anything she puts her stamp on. I mean, if she wanted to be my best friend, my life would basically be complete.

But being in the beauty world, I see celebs create product lines all the time. And to be honest, I haven’t reallylovedany of the A-list-created products I’ve tried. Why would Rihanna’s be any different? Well, because she’s Rihanna and she doesn’t do anything that isn’t beloved by everyone—even a discerning beauty editor.

@badgalriri teased her newest venture, Fenty Skin, on Instagram weeks before its launch, so when her three debut products (Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser,Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner SerumandHydra Visor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen) showed up on my doorstep, I couldn’t open them fast enough. The packaging is next level and features the same block letters as her other Fenty Beauty products, but with the prettiest periwinkle accents that look great on my vanity if I do say so myself. Not to mention theSPF 30 moisturizer我是重复使用,可持续packagin生活吗g. All three formulas are even better than I imagined. They’re made from globally sourced clean ingredients (another favorite quality of mine) and smellamazing—a tropical scent that evokes vacation Rihanna vibes. In a world where I haven’t vacationed in months and don’t know when I’ll once again sip a margarita on the beach, that’s major.

But the real standout?Fat Water. If you’re going to buy one product from the Fenty Skin line, make it this one. Rihanna even called it “one of her favorite products” ina videowith Harper’s BAZAAR. The consistency looks watery in the clear peach tube, but when you squeeze it out, it’s thick and literally looks like water, but, fatter? Well played, Riri. It serves as your pore-refining toner and hydrating serum in one simple step. Just squeeze a pea-sized amount in your palms, rub your hands together and pat it into your skin, no wasteful cotton rounds needed. As another one of my faves, Ina Garten, would say, “How easy is that?” And you know that tropical scent I described earlier? This product really hits home the fruity, brown-sugary notes, without being overpowering in the slightest.

As for the results? Well, thanks to those clean ingredients I mentioned earlier (a combo of niacinamide and plant botanicals), it helps to minimize the appearance of pores, fade dark spots, brighten, smooth and fight shine, while maintaining a golden hour-esque glow. My skin feels immediately more radiant, hydrated and less oily as soon as I use it. Then, I just top it off with my favorite moisturizer and go on my way (aka down the hall to my “workstation”). The best part is, I don’t even feel like I need to put on any BB cream before my morning Zoom meetings—that’s how radiant we’re talking.

It looks like Rihanna has done it again. Now I can add another one of her brands to my growing list of faves.
