At first glance, the trailer feels like your typical, run-of-the-mill crime series, but there seems to be a deeper element that points to something darker. At first, we see Winslet's character casually chatting with a guy at the bar, but after she learns about a dead body, things appear to take a turn for the worse.
The series stars Julianne Nicholson as Lori Ross, Jean Smart as Helen, Angourie Rice as Siobhan Sheehan, Evan Peters as Detective Colin Zabel, Guy Pearce as Richard Ryan, Cailee Spaeny as Erin McMenamin and David Denman as Frank Sheehan. Other cast members include John Douglas Thompson, Patrick Murney, James McArdle, Sosie Bacon and Joe Tippett.
布拉德Ingelsby导演and executive produced the series. Meanwhile, Winslet, Craig Zobel, Paul Lee, Mark Roybal, Gavin O’Connor and Gordon Gray all served as executive producers.
PerDeadline,Winslet opened up about working on the film. She said, “I just have never done anything like this and was excited to read something that gripped me right away. I really felt the sense of not only who she was but the world she lived in and comes from; that sense of community; being so entrenched in a society that you sort of forget who you are from time to time."
