How to Watch ‘Suits’ Season 9 (& Why It’s Not on Netflix)

In January 2019, USA Network announced thatSuitswas renewed for a ninth and final season. It consisted of just ten episodes and aired in July 2019.

As for why the series ended after nine seasons, show creator Aaron Korsh toldDeadline梅根·Markle和帕特里克·j·亚当斯departure played a role. He said, "During the course of season seven, as they were negotiating the cast’s contracts for two years, an unforeseen thing happened. You can never know that one of your stars is going to marry the Prince of England, and Patrick decided not to return, so we had a choice whether to keep going after season seven."

Suitsseason nine is currently available to stream onPrime Videofor members. However, the same can't be said about seasons one through eight, which are only available for purchase. Episodes cost around $3 each, or you can buy full seasons (which range from $24 to $42).

On Twitter, the streaming service sharedThe Hollywood Reporter's announcement regarding the show's record-breaking viewership andwrote, “But I'm the only one exclusively streaming ALL NINE SEASONS ofSuits. This tweet was approved by Legal.”

It's worth noting thatSuitsis also available to stream on Netflix, but it only has the first eight seasons. The streaming service hasn't publicly addressed why the final season is missing, but we'd assume that they haven't obtained the rights just yet, since these episodes only aired in 2019.

On the bright side, Netflix users can see a longer version of the show's pilot. While speaking withTVLine, executive producer Gene Klein said, “The slightly longer version has been on Netflix, internationally, and we’ve known that it’s out there.”

He added, “USA, at the time, was willing to let us have a long pilot, but they weren’t willing to let us gothatlong. But they told us at the time that that one was fine for selling internationally.”
