The show is a based on a book series, so there’s already more material to cover. Plus, season two was such a hit, it claimed the number one spot on Netflix’slist of most-watched showswithin a matter of days. And finally, we need another season to resolve that cliffhanger.
The story is based on the book series by Michael Connolly and 2011 movie starring Matthew McConaughey. It follows an eponymous lawyer named Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), who operates out of the trunk of his Lincoln Town Car. The first season was based on the second book,The Reversal, since the film was inspired by the first. If everything goes according to plan, the third season will follow the fourth novel, titledThe Gods of Guilt.
If the show gets renewed, we expect the main cast to reprise their roles. This includes Manuel Garcia-Rulfo (Mickey Haller), Jazz Raycole (Izzy), Angus Sampson (Cisco), Neve Campbell (Maggie) and Becki Newton (Lorna).
