This Bradley Cooper Movie Has Been on Netflix’s Top 10 List for Weeks (& It’s So Intense)

War Dogsis loosely based on a true story, following two young individuals who strike a $300 million deal with the Pentagon to “arm America’s allies” in Afghanistan.

It focuses on David Packouz (Miles Teller), a massage therapist living in Miami, Florida, who runs into an old childhood friend, Efraim Diveroli (Jonah Hill), at a funeral. Diveroli, who lives in Los Angeles and supplies firearms to the U.S. government for the war in Iraq, recruits his old pal to join him, so he can make some real money for his growing family.

Although he is against the war, Packouz ultimately agrees. However, it’s not long before the duo realizes they might be in over their heads—like when they meet Henry Girard (Cooper), a Swiss arms dealer, at a Vegas trade show.

In addition to Cooper, Hill and Teller, the film also starsAna de Armas(Knives Out), Kevin Pollack (A Few Good Men) and Dave Blizerian (Lone Survivor).

Although the movie didn’t get outstanding reviews from critics (Rotten Tomatoesgave it a respectable 68 percent), audiences are definitely enjoying the intense action-packed scenes and star-studded cast.
