最令人兴奋的事情要做在迈阿密Summer 2022

1.Old Greg’s Pizza

  • Neighborhood:Miami Design District

The square-shaped pizza you know and love from the Miami Design District pop-up Old Greg’s now has a permanent home in the same neighborhood. The best part? There’s a lot more to be had here than just pizza these days, including a killer happy hour menu. Look out for savory garlic knots, meatball parm hoagies and polenta-crusted chicken wings, plus tres leches with stracciatella, Sicilian pistachio and fennel pollen for dessert.

3620 NE 2nd Ave., Miami; 866-653-4734

2.Off Site

  • Neighborhood:Little River

我们遗憾的告别Boxelder Wynwood酒吧, but all is not lost anymore: Get your fix at Off Site, a micro-brewery concept now open in Miami’s Little River neighborhood. Created by Taquiza’s owner/chef Steve Santana and former Boxelder owner Adam Darnell, this relaxed hangout is an ideal spot to sit on your favorite lager or IPA while noshing on comfort food-inspired classics, fromCuban sandwichesto house-smoked fish dip to the “Champion” hot dog with everything seasoning.

8250 NE 2nd Ave., Miami; 786-360-4237

3.Chug’s Diner

  • Neighborhood:Coconut Grove

Though Chug’s is not necessarily anewrestaurant, it deserves a mention after its recent expansion and subsequent reopening. From a smallCuban-inspired diner/takeout cafe to now a full-fledged sit-down restaurant serving one of the city’s best meatloafs, Chug’s has established itself as one of Miami’s mainstays. Go for breakfast, brunch or dinner, and sip on a refreshing cocktail paired with the drool-worthy Chug burger, a plate of lechon asado or a bite from the spot’s all-day breakfast menu. (We love the sausage, egg and cheese with papitas.) No wonder it was named “Bib Gourmand” in Michelin’s first-ever Miami guide in 2022. (Pro tip: Chef/owner Michael Beltran’s neighboring restaurant, Ariete, was also awarded one Michelin star.)

3444 Main Hwy., Miami; 786-353-2940

4.Doya

  • Neighborhood:Wynwood

Wishing you had a trip to Greece on the books? In the meantime, we’ll make a reservation at Doya instead—which was also awarded a “Bib Gourmand” nod in Michelin’s first Miami guide in 2022. One of the city’s latest Aegean restaurants, this spot celebrates everything we love about the meze culture of the greater Mediterranean region and the Middle East. Most food here is cooked over live fire, from octopus to lamb kebabs, alongside a robust menu of cold bites like roasted eggplant to branzino ceviche.

347 NW 24th St., Miami; 305-501-2848

5.Carousel Club

  • Neighborhood:Hallandale

If you’re a fan of the Wharf, you’re sure to love Carousel Club. This all-in-one alfresco hangout—created by the hospitality vets known for Gulfstream Park and the Wharf— features 14,000 square feet of tented and outdoor space with an antique “carousel bar” at the center. What’s more, nosh on bites from some of our favorites, including Ms. Cheezious, Spris Artisan Pizza and Los Altos Taqueria.

901 S Federal Hwy., Hallandale Beach; 954-228-3378

6.Motek

  • Neighborhood:Aventura

From Jerusalem to Miami, Motek is a Kosher-style Israeli Mediterranean restaurant with influences from Israel, Lebanon, Morocco and Yemen. With locations in downtown Miami and most recently Aventura, this restaurant is guaranteed to satisfy even the pickiest of diners, offering just about every plate and flavor imaginable—from shakshuka and hummus to schnitzel sandwiches and lamb shawarma to salmon bowls and beef kebabs. (Psst:A third location is set to open in Miami Beach.)

7.Whitman’s Miami

  • Neighborhood:South Beach

More than a decade ago, Whitmans opened its first location in New York City, serving elevated comfort food in a cozy environment. After opening two more locations in NYC, the owners turned their focus to Miami—and we’re so thankful they did. With a spot in Miami Beach and a forthcoming location in Wynwood, this is the place to go when you’re craving areallygood burger. There are more than a dozen varieties, from the Classic (beef short rib blend patty with seared onion, bibb lettuce, tomato, pickles and special sauce on a potato bun) to the Hound (applewood smoked bacon-infused patty with arugula, smoked gruyere and potato crisps) to even a bacon, egg, and cheese with a short rib blend patty if you’re craving breakfast for dinner.

8.Sadelle’s

Ah, Sadelle’s—this iconic NYC restaurant has made waves with its recent South Florida expansion, bringing bagel towers, smoked salmon, crispy latkes, caviar and grapefruit cocktails to Coconut Grove and Boca Raton. And get this: You can order breakfast and brunch All. Day. Long.

9.Vinya Table

  • Neighborhood:Coral Gables

If you’ve had a few glasses at Vinya Market, then Vinya Table should be next on your list. Consider this Coral Gables outpost as a bigger, better version of the original spot. Pair your favorite pours with a menu of elevated American classics, including smoked burrata with rainbow beet carpaccio and pistachio-basil pesto; charred cauliflower with curry-coconut cream and scallion gremolata; and Moroccan lamb chops with Dijon-panko crust, charred onion-baba ghanoush and crispy chickpea salad.

266 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables; 305-203-4229

10.Sexy Fish Miami

  • Neighborhood:Brickell

This Asian-inspired seafood locale offers an all-day to late-night experience, featuring upscale food and drink with entertainment. The menu, created by Michelin-starred chef Björn Weissgerber, includes an extensive selection of fish and seafood (steamed sea bass, house-smoked ora king salmon and caramelized black cod) alongside skewers and gyoza, Japanese wagyu, and sashimi and nigiri.
