Introducing Chicago-based start-upCameo, an online service that allows you to buy shout-outs from famous people to share with friends and family for special occasions.

The company has a roster of over 2,000 athletes, comedians and personalities to choose from, including actress Bella Thorne, former basketball player Dennis Rodman, blogger Perez Hilton and half the cast ofReal Housewives.

Celebrities set their own price per message, which can range from $20 to over $1,000. (Um, what?)

And according to the site,there are no set rulesabout what you can and cannot request “as long as the request is appropriate.”
