Tonight, Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered for the2023 Golden Globes. During the 80th annual ceremony,Abbott Elementarytook home the award for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy.
The popular series beat out amajorly impressive list of nominees, includingThe Bear,Hacks,Only Murders in the BuildingandWednesday.

Before having its own category, this award grouped together musical, comedy and drama series, and was called the Golden Globe Award for Best Television Series. Lucky for us, this all-encompassing category ended in 1968.
The 80th annual Golden Globes were hosted by comedian Jerrod Carmichael at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. The ceremony was exclusively broadcast on Peacock and NBC.
