We Finally Know Kate Middleton’s Taste in Curtains Thanks to Her Latest Video Call

Kate Middletonis marking what would have been the start of Wimbledon Championship’s finals weekend while simultaneously giving us a sneak peek into another part of her home.

In honor of thenow-canceled event, the Duchess of Cambridge (patron of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club) teamed up with former Wimbledon champion, Sir Andy Murray, to surprise young tennis players from Bond Primary School in London.

“He played tennis for Great Britain, he’s two times Olympic champion, he’s the former world number one, can you possibly guess who this might be?” the duchess teased the students.

During the video call, Murray shared why he took up the sport as a career and gave the students tips to better their game. And while we love to see the children’s excitement at meeting the famous duo, our attention was immediately drawn to Middleton’s Zoom background, specifically her window decor.

In the blink-and-you'll-miss-it clip, which was shot in the duchess’s Norfork home, we get a glimpse of Middleton’s curtains. The fabric pieces seem to be a grey-ish cream color with a fringe lining. And although we only get to see a portion of them, we’re sensing these babies are massive, which makes sense considering they will have to try and block all the natural light from that impressive window.

The decor choice seems to fit with the rest of the country home (or, at least, the small amount of it we’ve seen). The 38-year-old royal is known for her simple, minimalistic taste, includingtons of neutral colors.
