Imagine the surprise of handing a microphone to a stranger and it turns out to beKelly Clarkson.

Well, that’s exactly what happened this weekend, and the moment was captured in a video that Clarksonshared to her Instagram account. Turns out, the 41-year-oldtalk show hostwas passing by a performer on the streets of Las Vegas and she wanted to tip her for her impressive performance. But then, the performer handed the“Since U Been Gone”songstress the mic and she ended up giving her own rousing performance. Check out the amazing moment below.

TheAmerican Idolwinnerdescribed the encounter in her caption, writing, “I was on my way to soundcheck for @iHeartRadio tonight in Vegas and was tipping this incredible woman killing some Tina Turner and then she asked me to sing and had no clue who I was, and then it hit her, and it made my day! She gives the best hugs and sings her tail off! See ya tonight Vegas [heart emoji] #iHeartFestival2023.”
