Ripa and Seacrest teamed up with their friend Science Bob Pflugfelder to conduct a little science experiment that combined 40 liters of hydrogen peroxide and two buckets of sodium iodide. Their mixture caused a chemical reaction that produced thousands of gallons of blue foam that looked like toothpaste being squeezed from a tube, hence the name. The fountain measured in at 13.07 cubic meters and squashed the previously held record of 5 cubic meters.
The longtimeLivehost’s fascination with record breaking all started when she set the Guinness World Record in 2006 for the most banana cream pies tossed in her mouth in one minute (ahem, 24). In 2010, she employed the help of Anderson Cooper to play thelargest game of human mattress dominoes, because doesn’t that sound amazing? But that’s not all. She also gotpretty, prettyclose (.2 liters close) tostomping the most grapes in one minuteever recorded in 2011. One might say she got close, but nocigar席拉。
