The Royal Family Celebrates Beginning of Rosh Hashanah with Clip of King Charles Dancing (and Fans Are Loving His Moves)

This weekend wasRosh Hashanah(AKA the Jewish New Year), whichbeginson the first day of the month of Tishrei on the Hebrew calendar. Starting at sunset on Friday, September 15, and ending at sunset on Sunday, September 17, the holiday marks the beginning of the JewishHigh Holy Days, and the royal family celebrated the special occasion with anew post on Instagram(featuring some rare dancing fromKing Charles III, 74).

The caption began: “Shana Tovah!” (which loosely translates to “Good year!”), while the rest of it read: “Warm wishes to everyone celebrating Rosh Hashanah this weekend.”

With this post, the royal family included a clip of King Charles dancing with members of the local Jewish community at theJW3 Londonin December 2022. (FYI: The JW3 London is a Jewish arts, culture and community center.)

In the video, the monarch is seen happily dancing while holding the hands of a couple. At one point, King Charles even spins the man whose hand he's holding.

Royal followers loved the rare clip of the king showing off his moves. One user wrote, “I could not love this more! The cutest thing ever!” Another follower commented, “I love how jolly the King is when out socially. He's a natural with people and seems to enjoy interacting with them.”

Apost was madeafter the king’s visit to the JW3 last year, and it said: “His Majesty learnt about the centre’s work by hearing from young people taking part in the programmes offered by JW3, as well as meeting volunteers who dedicate their time to delivering the centre’s activities, including the food bank - which delivers around 200 bags of essentials a week and over 2,200 meals for local residents in need.”
