Gaga has yet to win an Emmy Award, despite three previous nominations—two for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special (Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square GardenandTony Bennett and Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek Live!) and one for Outstanding Special Class Program (Super Bowl LI Halftime Show Starring Lady Gaga).
Although she is the proud owner of two Golden Globe Awards—Best Actress in a Limited Series (American Horror Story: Hotel) and Best Original Song (“Shallow”fromA Star Is Born)—the honors don’t count toward the EGOT foursome.
Gaga had this one in the bag since 2010. Not only has the singer been nominated 24 times, but she’s also taken home nine of the awards.
