Prince William & Kate Middleton Step Out for Memorial Service Honoring the Grenfell Tower Fire Victims

Prince William andhis wife, Kate Middleton, just stepped out for an event they hold close to their heart.

On Tuesday, the Duke andDuchess of Cambridgeattended a memorial service honoring the fifth anniversary of theGrenfell Tower fire. (The tragedy took place in 2017, when a fire erupted in a 24-story apartment building and killed 72 people.)

Prince William and Middleton honored the victims with flowers and wreaths before chatting with the survivors and their families. The service (which took place at the foot of the now-vacated tower) was organized byGrenfell United, a charity that was created by a group of survivors advocating for change.

This isn’t the first time Prince William and Middleton have honored the victims of the cataclysmic West London fire. Back in 2017, the Duke of Cambridge and his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, visited the families and rescue workers. Prince Williambroke royal protocol by hugging a woman渴望找到她是谁husband.
