Rebel Wilson is opening up about her new relationship, just in time forPride Month.
On Instagram, theSenior Yearstarshared her first snap with her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, and confirmed that she may have found her "Disney Princess." In the caption, she wrote, "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince…but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess. #loveislove."
In the post, which has already garnered a whopping 1.7 million likes, Wilson is all smiles as she poses alongside Agruma while enjoying what appears to be a romantic dinner. Naturally, fans and fellow celebs were thrilled for the actress and showed their support in the comments. HerSenior Yearco-star, Joshua Colley, wrote, "BEAUTIES!!! So happy for you both! POWER COUPLE." Another cast member, Tyler Barnhardt, said, "This caption is [heart eyes emoji]. Happy Pride ICON!"
PerPeople,Wilson revealed that she was set up with her new partner through a mutual friend. She said, "We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting. And that was a really good way to get to know each other. It was a bit old-school in that sense—very romantic."
She continued, "I think going through the process of finding more self-worth, I think that what you want in a partner is elevated, and so it's great to have someone who feels like an equal partner and be in a healthy relationship. There were times—I'm not saying with all my exes, they're great—but there were some times that I was probably putting up with that I shouldn't have. So, it feels different to be in a really healthy relationship."
The big announcement comes just a few weeks after Wilson appeared on theU Up?podcast, where she revealed that she's dated dozens of people. She explained, “I think I went out with about 50 people in that one year, but some of them were just one date and then you think, ‘Oh, no.'”
She continued, “I deliberately wanted to push myself to date a bunch of people and gain that experience, which I know is not normal, but it really helped me find out what I liked and what I didn’t like.”
