It’s no secret that Reese Witherspoon’s daughter,Ava Phillippe, could low-key pass as her sister, but this brand-new photo of theBLLstar and her brother, John, proves that doppelgänger good looks run in the family.
Yesterday, the 43-year-old actress shared a series of selfies on her Instagram Story, documenting her brother-sister get-together.
She captioned the post, “Me & my bro.”
Sure, the siblings look alike at first glance. But upon closer inspection, John is starting to morph into his famous sister.
If you take away the beard, mustache and man bangs, John bears a striking resemblance to Witherspoon. Everything from his eyes and his nose to his mouth screams Elle Woods, and we can’t believe we didn’t see it sooner.
This isn’t the first time Witherspoon uploaded a photo of her brother on social media. Back in April, the actress shared a throwback photo on Instagram in honor of National Siblings Day.
She poked fun at their dated outfits in the caption, writing, “Happy #NationalSiblingsDay to the best big brother! What’s that saying? Fashion fades but family is forever?? Love you!”
