Reese Witherspoon Hosts Mindy Kaling, Tracee Ellis Ross and Other Celebrity Besties at Special Event

Reese Witherspoon, 47, sure knows how to throw a party. On Oct. 21, theMorning Showactress hostedShine Awayin Los Angeles, an event through herHello Sunshinemedia company, which was billed as “a day of energizing conversations between your favorite authors, storytellers, and creative minds...plus access to immersive experiences and live performances.” And boy did Witherspoon craft a guest list. For the event, she recruited a number of hercelebrity friends, including Mindy Kaling, Jennifer Garner, Tracee Ellis Ross and more.

TheLegally Blondestar posed with two of her besties—Garner and Kaling—on the red carpet, and she shared the image to her IG Story, writing: “Loved loved loved talking with these two in our panel about the power of connection [yellow heart emoji] [heart hands emoji].”

Other guests at the event included Olympic gold medalists Lindsey Vonn, Allyson Felix and Kerri Walsh Jennings, musical performer Dove Cameron andNightingaleauthor Kristin Hannah.

TheBig Little Liesactress founded Hello Sunshine back in 2016, and since then, the company has produced major shows likeLittle Fires Everywhereand黛西琼斯& 6, as well as movies likeWhere the Crawdads Sing.

Now, Witherspoon’s years of hard work have culminated in this star-studded event, which was the first in-person experience ever produced by Hello Sunshine.

At the beginning of the day, the Draper James founder wrote: “Welcoming everyone to @hellosunshine’s FIRST ever in-person experience was an absolute dream come true!!!!...I'm in awe of this community we've built and I cannot wait for the rest of this day!!! [sparkles emoji] Let's spread that JOY and SUNSHINE y'all.”
