It’s official:Ryan Seacrestis retiring as co-host ofLive with Kelly and Ryan.
Today, producers shared behind-the-scenes videos and photos on social media in honor of Seacrest’s last episode of the popular talk show. (TheAmerican Idolstarwill be replacedby Kelly Ripa’s husband,Mark Consuelos, starting Monday.)
One Instagram Story (screenshots below) featured BTS clips of Seacrest’s emotional last day on set. One video showed the co-host using his sleeve to wipe away a tear.
In another clip, Seacrest stood next to Ripa while dabbing his eyes with a tissue. The caption read, “It’s been an emotional show.”
The officialLiveInstagram account also shared a special farewell video honoring Seacrest. The video showed a montage of scenes featuring Ripa and Seacrest over the years. This included footage of their first walk to the stage…and their last. The caption read, “It’s been a wild ride! Thanks @ryanseacrest! Tune in now for Ryan’s last official show as co-host.”
Back in February, Seacrest announced thathe’s leavingLive with Kelly & Ryan后六个成功的赛季。“K一起工作elly over the past six years has been a dream job and one of the highlights of my career,” he said. “She has been an amazing partner, friend, and confidant, and although we will always be a part of each other’s lives, I will miss our mornings together.”
