Viewers may have noticedKelly Ripawas absent from today’s episode ofLive with Kelly and Ryan. But,Ryan Seacrestwas joined by a非常special co-host who is no stranger to the morning show.
Seacrest was accompanied by television chef and restaurant owner, Melba Wilson. The clip posted to the officialLiveInstagram account showed the two walking out and greeting the viewers after announcerDeja Vuintroduced them.
Seacrest穿着黑色、深蓝色西装切stnut-colored Oxford shoes. Meanwhile, Melba truly radiated in a multi-colored, African print dress and white hoop earrings that resembled an animal tooth. She tied the look together with a slicked-back bun with a side swoop and black, pointed stiletto heels.
While viewers got a chance to see Melba serve as a guest co-host today, the talented chef has visited the show on multiple occasions. Back in December, the restaurateur stopped by to share her delicious Southern Panzanella and Corn Bread recipe for aholiday-themed episodeofLive. Melba is the founder of Harlem's very own Melba's Restaurant, which is famously known for making Southern classics that are served in a homey setting.
Earlier this week, Seacrest was MIA fromLiveas well. So, Ripa’s husband,Mark Consuelos, served as a guest co-host for the time being. He has appeared on the show numerous times (and the viewers have been very vocal about loving his surprise visits).
In a video posted to the show’s official account, Ripa walked out wearing a black, button-down top with gold detailing on the front. She tied the look together with high-rise jeans and gold-colored heels. In contrast, her husband wore a gray sweatshirt with navy blue pants and black Oxford shoes.
