After aseven-episode hiatus, Ryan Seacrest is officially back onLive.
Yup—fans of the hit morning show were happy (and surprised) to see the 46-year-old return alongsideKelly Ripaon theLive with Kelly and Ryan set for Wednesday’s episode. Right on cue, the producers shared their daily behind-the-scenes video on Instagram, featuring the hosting duo dancing as they make their way to their seats. Naturally, Seacrest makes sure to拉出椅子for his co-host. “We’re live now!” the post’s caption read.
As we mentioned above, it's been over a week since we’ve seen Seacrest sitting next to his co-host. Instead, Ripa’s husband,Mark Consuelos, filled in as a guest host during his absence.
Fans and followers were very happy to see the co-host back in action, considering they quickly filled the comments section with “Welcome back” messages. Of course, there were a handful of individuals who were sad to see Consuelos go.
Seacrest hasn’t confirmed the reason for his absence. However, a quick look at his social media revealed that he’s been working on the next season ofAmerican Idol.The actor shared a snap on Twitter and Instagram on Sunday, featuring himself alongside Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan and more of theAIteam. “Picking up where we left off. The band is back together for number 20! @americanidol,” he wrote. He followed up with a second post on Wednesday, writing, “The official kick off to our historic 20th season! So glad to be back with this team #AmericanIdol.”
We don't know how Seacrest does it all, but we're definitely glad to have him back.
