Even though Che didn’t receive the warmest welcome from viewers in the first season, Ramirez teased Che’s story will be bigger than ever (yes please). “The first season was judging a book by its cover, and season 2 is about reading the book,” they told the publication.
And Just Like That…showrunnerMichael Patrick Kingchimed in and said he wants audiences to see Che in a brand-new way. “One of my burning passions about season 2 is Che,” he said. “I want to show the dimension of Che that people didn’t see, for whatever reason—because they were blinded, out of fear or terror. I want to show more of Che rather than less of Che. Like,really.”
Back in March, HBO confirmed theSex and the Cityreboot series willreturn for a second season. King issued an official statement that read: “I am delighted and excited to tell more stories about these vibrant, bold characters—played by these powerful, amazing actors. The fact is, we're all thrilled.And Just like That… our sex life is back.”
