Selena Gomezis sharing a rare glimpse of her home in honor of her upcomingHBO Maxshow,Selena + Chef, and we’ve already added the pics to our “Dream Kitchen” Pinterest board.
Yesterday, the 28-year-old singer shared a slideshow on her personal Instagram account, featuring behind-the-scenes photos from the newly released episodes. The pics show Gomez standing in her elegant kitchen, which is far bigger than anything we ever cooked in as a twenty-something-year-old chef.
The first photo features the white cabinetry, which complements the marble countertop and light blue backsplash. The next pic is where the magic begins, showcasing the stunning exposed brick that surrounds Gomez’s stove top.
The white stone is outlined by imperfect mortar, creating a cozy rustic vibe. Everything from the gold fixtures to the pink KitchenAid mixture oddly fit with each other, despite the clashing styles.
Gomez captioned the post, “Who’s ready for what’s cooking (burning?)—new episodes and recipes out today on @hbomax @maxpop.”
Selena + Chefwill follow Gomez as she video chats with professional chefs, who walk her through a series of elaborate recipes. The musician will attempt to recreate the dishes in her own kitchen, which is easier said than done.
“I hope you’re gonna laugh because I look like a fool,” she said in a statement. “I wanted to do this simply because I love cooking, I just don’t know how to do it all the time.”
