Fans of Shailene Woodley may already be familiar with her earthybeauty routine(she's been known to ingest clay to clear heavy metals from her body and swish sesame oil for whiter teeth). So it should come as no surprise that this extends to her makeup as well—even when she's on the set ofBig Little Lies.
Inan interviewwithWomen's Wear Daily, Claudia Humburg, who is one of the lead makeup artists on the show, revealed that because Woodley is "very, very particular and requires natural materials," she mostly shopped at Whole Foods and The Detox Market to stock her kit.
More specifically, she used RMS Beauty's "Un" Coverup as a foundation in "a shade lighter so as to not give her the sun-kissed look and instead give her the I’m-not-sleeping look." Then she finished up with Tarte, Vapour, W3ll People and Kjær Weis. And you know those early scenes of Jane running? Humburg stood right next to the camera and sprayed Woodley wet with Evian water to get that just-jogged dew.
