Now, Biles is reflecting on her career and her love of the sportin a new Instagram post.

“World championships!!!!!” Biles wrote. “Whew Antwerp will always hold a special place in my heart. The first time I got a skill named after me was in this arena & 10 years later I got my 5th skill named…I’m speechless. I’m honored. I’m excited and I’m blessed!”

The Olympic gold medalist shared a slideshow of photos from the championships, which started with a snap of her tearing up after being presented with one of her medals.

It was clearly an emotional experience for Biles, who closed her caption by writing: “Doing it for the little girl who fell in love with the sport!!!!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love & support.”

Biles seems to becharting her way toward a spoton the women's gymnastics team for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

This would be the third Olympic appearance from Biles, who has won seven Olympic medals in total—four golds, one silver and two bronze. During her appearance at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Biles wasafflicted by “the twisties,”causing her to withdraw from the competition halfway through.

But now, Biles is clearly back on her game, and she certainly showed up at the world championships. The gymnast collected four gold medals in the team, all-around, balance beam and floor exercises, as well as a silver in vault.

We know that little girl would be proud of you now, Simone.
