The 22-year-old actress marked her role as Jean Grey, aka Phoenix, in the upcoming X-Men film in a super fiery way (sorry, had to).
Turnerdebuted a minimalist flame tat on her left pointer finger on Instagram and captioned it, “Phoenix-ing out” with two flame emojis (duh). Turner credited tattoo artist celebrity Winter Stone for her new piece.
But Turner isn’t the only one in the Jonas fam rockingfresh ink. Herfiancee, Joe Jonas, also sported a new tattoo on Instagram courtesy of Winter Stone featuring lyrics to Jeff Lynne’s Electric Light Orchestra song “Mr. Blue Sky.”
He included the song lyrics in his caption and gave his go-to tattoo artist a shout out. “Sun is shinin’ in the sky, there ain’t a cloud in sight, it’s stopped rainin’ everybody’s in a play, and don’t you know, it’s a beautiful new day, hey hey’- @jefflynneselo. The tattoo artist is known for his precise single needle tattoos and hookedTurnerand Jonas up with their respective north star and falcon tattoos last August. Stone has also worked on Miley Cyrus, Mandy Moore, Ashlee Simpson and more.
Turner’sDark Phoenixhits theaters on Friday, June 7. TBD whether she gets another tattoo by then.
