Will Ferrell and Molly Shannon will reprise their parody anchor personas forPrince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, so yeah, pop the bubbly.
Not only will theSNLalums cover the upcoming wedding on May 19 in London, but they’ll also do it as their fake commentator characters, Cord Hosenbeck and Tish Cattigan.
That’s right, HBO will broadcastThe Royal Wedding Live with Cord and Tish!at 7:30 a.m. ET and again at 9:45 p.m. ET. (Because once is never enough.) Tim Meadows, along with other special guests, will help the duo cover the festivities.
The special will be produced by Ferrell, Shannon, Andrew Steele (SNL), Mike Farah (Billy on the Street), Bellamie Blackstone (@midnight) and Funny or Die. Ferrell will also pen the script.
We first met Cord and Tish earlier this year when they starred in Amazon’s parody special2018年玫瑰游行由软木d & Tish.If their debut is any indication, Prince Harry and Markle have no idea what they’re in for.
