Last month, the40-year-old shareda selfie featuring her 7-year-old son, Ace. And it’s clear the young boy gets his looks from hismom’s side of the familybecause the two look identical to one another. So much so, in fact, that Simpson even called out the similarities in her caption. “I’m pretty sure this is my kiddo,” she wrote alongside a winky-face emoji.
We’re not just talking about the blonde hair. Ace also seems to have acquired his mother's smile, brown eyes and rotund cheeks. Not to mention, they both have the same exact nose.
The post came two weeks after Ace celebrated his 7th birthday, for which theDukes of Hazzardstar also shared a special tribute on social media.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY ACE!!! I cannot believe my boy is 7,” she captioned a snap of the duo hugging. “This kiddo is amazing at everything! He is beautiful, kind, compassionate, obedient to his own heart, soulful, competitive, a gentle force of nature, observant, even-tempered, complimentary, hugs when he sees conflict in the room, nurturing, athletic, intelligent, hopeful, daddy’s best friend, mommy’s snuggle monster, home run king, knows everyone’s next move, passionate, hilarious, a collector of baseball cards and crystals, one of a kind and good...he is just SO good.”
Simpson and her husband, Eric Johnson, are also parents to daughter Maxwell, 8, and daughter Birdie,whom she welcomedin March of 2019.
