On Saturday, July 22, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer marked her 31st by throwing a celeb-filled extravaganza at her Malibu residence. Asseen in the slideshowbelow, guests at the event included Paris Hilton, Benny Blanco, Karol G and more.

But another trip around the sun wasn't the only thing Gomez had to celebrate. Turns out, our Leo queen is close to billionaire status, according to a new update posted byCelebrity Net Worthon July 21, which said that her net worth is now $800 million.

As noted byMarca, part of this leap could be due to Serena Williams investing in Gomez's start-up,Wondermind, which is dedicated to giving readers “easy, doable ways to put [their] mental fitness first every day.” According toMarca, Williams's $5 million investment ledWondermindto jump in valuation to $100 million.

Of course, we can't forget that theOnly Murders in the Buildingactress also launched her own cosmetics line,Rare Beauty, back in 2020. This business move has been quite lucrative, with sales of the Rare Beauty blushalonenetting around $70 million last year, according toBloomberg.

In addition to all this, Gomez is the producer of her aforementioned show,Only Murders, which has earned her two Emmy noms (for producing). Not to mention, she has plenty of other projects lined up, including the upcoming musical comedyEmilia Perez, co-starring Zoë Saldaña.
