Tracee Ellis Ross Honors Mom Diana with New IG Post: ‘She is the Stuff of Which Entertainment Legends Are Made’

Tracee Ellis Rossmay have starred in the movieDaddy's Little Girls, but she's all about her mama in herlatest Instagram post. The 50-year-old actress shared a vintage clip to IG that was taken of her mother,Diana Ross, during aniconic performanceshe gave in Central Park back in 1983.

TheBlack-ishstar showed her total admiration for her mother in the caption, for which she wrote, “There are a few moments in history that define a generation of music, popular culture & humanity. My mama @dianaross’s concert in @centralparknyc, 40 years ago today, is one of those moments [heart emoji]. She is the stuff of which entertainment legends are made.”

Theunforgettable showsaw Diana performing on the Great Lawn at Central Park in New York City as part of a benefit to build a children's park (which would later be named theDiana Ross Playground). About 30 minutes into the show, it started to rain, but Diana didn't stop until lightning forced her to.
