The 58-year-old actress appeared on yesterday’s episode ofThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she debuted an exclusive video featuring the two actors struggling to get through a scene.
In the clip, Louis-Dreyfus discusses everything from her Emmy win to the seventh (and final) season ofVeep. When Fallon brings up Hale, the actress goes on to explain that he’s “impossible to work with because he’s so funny.”

The scene takes place shortly after Gary’s heart attack, when Selina invited him to live with her in “this tiny little room in a tiny little single bed.” When Selina goes completely out of character and makes him food, the pair struggles to get through the scene without laughing.
“We could not get through it because I was so close to him, and the food was rancid that I gave him,” Louis-Dreyfus says before playing the clip.
