威廉王子& Kate Middleton's Latest Outing Was a Special Tribute to Prince Philip

Just days afterPrince Philip’s funeralservice,威廉王子andKate Middletonstepped out for their first official engagement this week.

On Wednesday, which also happened to beQueen Elizabeth’s 95th birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the Air Cadets at 282 East Ham Squadron in London. The couple attended the event to pay tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh, who served as Air Commodore-in-Chief of the Air Training Corps for 63 years. In fact, in 2015, Philip passed on his patronage to Middleton who has been Honorary Air Commandant ever since.

According to Kensington Palace, the organization supports cadets and helps them gain skills and qualifications across a variety of different disciplines including aviation, cyber and radio communications, adventure training, music, first aid and air experience flying, gliding and more.

The royal couple looked sophisticated in black and navy to continue mourning the loss of the duke. For the occasion, Middleton opted for a Dolce & Gabbana military coat dress, block heels and a black clutch. Her hubby rocked a navy suit with a matching tie and facemask.

ICYMI: Over the weekend,thirty special attendeesincluding members of theroyal familysaid their final goodbyes to Duke of Edinburgh during asmall ceremonial funeralwhere he was laid to rest at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
