Meghan Markle’s First Post-Royal Gig Is Now Available on Disney+

After her royal exit, Meghan Markle is on to greener, er, Botswanan pastures with a brand-new Disney documentary.

In late March, Disney announced that the 38-year-oldDuchess of Sussexwould return to the small screen with a new documentary calledElephant. Markle narrated the upcoming Disneynature documentary (witha little help from Prince Harry), and now it’s officially available to stream on Disney+.

Sure, the formerSuitsstar’s inclusion in the project does give a nod to her pre-royal days as an actress, but she actually recorded her voiceover before she and her 35-year-old husband made the decision to step back from duty. The duchess became involved in the project last fall while residing in London and opted to donate her paycheck toElephants Without Borders, a charitable organization that’s dedicated to conserving wildlife through research, education and information.

The organization (and conservation in general) has played a large role in Markle and Prince Harry’s relationship. In 2017, the then newish couple traveled to the African nation of Botswana to assist Dr. Mike Chase of Elephants Without Borders. According toPeople, Markle became aware of the Disney documentary through Dr. Chase and was soon asked by filmmakers Mark and Vanessa Berlowitz to do the narration. Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made their intention to become financially independent from the royal family known, there are reportedly no other Disney projects with Markle in the works…yet.

You can watchElephantsand hear Markle’s soothing voice on Disney+ now.
