Meghan Markle Just Revealed the Name of Her New Podcast Series—and It’s Totally on Brand

Ever since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry dropped their very first Archewell Audiopodcast episode in December 2020, we’ve been patiently waiting for the moment we’d get to hear their voices in our ears again. Well, the wait is overcourtesy of the recent newsthat Markle would be commanding the microphone via a new series—and as of this morning we officially have a name for it:Archetypes.

As part of the announcement, Spotify also released aslick new teaser trailer, narrated by Markle, in which she addresses the stereotypes that have historically generalized women through the lens of pop culture and media: “This is how we talk about women: the words that raise our girls, and how the media reflects women back to us...but where do these stereotypes come from? And how do they keep showing up and defining our lives?”

Of course, the news ofArchetypescomes on the heels of reports that Markle and Prince Harry’s first production with Spotify may have been delayed due to thevery public spat over Joe Rogan.
