Milo Ventimiglia Dishes on ‘This Is Us’ Ending After 6 Seasons

Milo Ventimiglia is opening up about the end ofThis Is Us, andhow could you!?

The 41-year-old actor appeared on today’s episode ofThe Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he addressed rumors about the NBC series coming to an end after season six.

In the clip, Ventimiglia discusses filming the show in Vietnam before addressing the elephant in the room. When DeGeneres brings up recent rumors about the show ending after season six (they’re currently on three), he joked, “We’re middle-aged now. We’re over the hill, like, on our way, declined to like nursing home and then the grave.”

The actor goes on to reassure fans that the show could have more seasons, adding, “We never know what’s going to happen. The show could have a huge spike in season six and everybody wants more beyond that.”

However, Ventimiglia also reveals the series is designed to conclude after six seasons. “But I think creatively they have an idea of what they’d like to do to kind of wrap it up in this nice story,” he continued.

The news comes just one week after showrunnerIsaac Aptaker透露,他已经终结。

“We’ve had this end in mind for a long time, so we’re able to plan for it and try to make it feel like it’s a whole, as opposed to a series that’s going to go endlessly,” he said.
