Over the weekend, thePrince, 41, andPrincess of Wales, also 41, posted competing statements on their jointX(formerly Twitter) account and signed them with their unique signatures.

这一切开始于10月21日,当王子很快就会回来的liam shared a message honoring the life and legacy of soccer legend Sir Bobby Charlton, who passed away at age 86.

It read, “Sir Bobby Charlton. First Division Champion. European Champion. World Champion. Gentleman. Legend. A true great who will be remembered forever. Thank you Sir Bobby.” Prince William ended the message with a personalized “W.”

Shortly after, Princess Catherine posted her own message on the couple’s joint account. This time, the Princess of Wales paid tribute to England’s men’s rugby team after they lost to South Africa at the2023 Rugby World Cupin France.

She wrote, “You can be so proud of yourselves @EnglandRugby. Though it may have been defeat today, you can walk away from this tournament with your heads held high.” Princess Catherine also concluded the message with a personal sign-off, writing, “C.”

This isn’t the first time that Prince William and Princess Catherine haveshared personalized messageson social media—and it certainly won’t be the last. Still, we appreciate their candor in letting us know they did, in fact, write the message (as opposed to a palace aide) by ending the messages with their first initials.

Never change, you two.
