One sweet moment was posted tothe Instagram account威廉王子和他的妻子凯特Middleton, 41. In this shot, William is seen chatting with a Welsh rugby player while wrapping his arm around his son's shoulders.
Throughout the rest of the event, the father and son were seen cheering together in the standswhile sitting next toGerald Davies, the President of the Welsh Rugby Union, and Sir Bill Beaumont CBE, Chairperson of World Rugby.
Despite the royal pair's enthusiastic energy, the Welsh rugby teamended up losingto Argentina, 17 to 29.
In the wake of the loss, the Prince of Walesshared a rare personal messageto social media, offering his condolences to the Welsh squad.
“Commiserations @WelshRugbyUnion, sorry that it wasn’t to be this year but you can be very proud of all you have achieved and I know you’ll come back even stronger,” the prince wrote. “Congratulations @LosPumas – best of luck.” The royal also rewrote his message in Welsh and then signed the post, “W.”
While Prince William mayhave the title of “Prince of Wales,”he alsobecame patronof the Welsh Rugby Union (WRU) in 2016, a role which he took over from his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
