Ever since we binged the third season back when it was dropped in August of 2020, we've been missing all the drama that occurs at the #1 agency in the Hollywood Hills and the Sunset Strip. But finally,Selling Sunsetis back and fans have another reason to celebrate because in March, Netflix announced that they had alreadyrenewed the show for a fifth seasonas well.
Many of the original cast members will return, includingChrishell Stause, Christine Quinn,Mary Fitzgerald, Romain Bonnet, Heather Rae Young, Amanza Smith, Maya Vander and Davina Potratz (and Jason and Brett Oppenheim, of course). Meanwhile, those “two new agents” referenced in Netflix's writeup are newbies Vanessa Villela and Emma Hernan.
Also, in case you were unaware: it was announceda couple days agothat a spinoff forSelling Sunsetwas in the works. Slated for release in 2022, the new show, titledSelling the OC,will follow Jason Oppenheim as he opens a second office in Newport Beach, Orange County. While we're not sure whether any otherSelling Sunsetstars will feature, we know the cast will include Oppenheim, Alexandra Hall, Austin Victoria and Brandi Marshall.
As if we needed any more reasons to get excited.
