If you're aCrown-er (we'll keep working on that nickname...) then you know that back in April, Netflix finally found its Princess Diana in young actressEmma Corrin.

While 23-year-old Corrin will probably only make a brief cameo in the upcomingseason threeof royal-family drama seriesThe Crown(set to premierethis falland featuring an all-star cast ofOlivia Colmanas Queen Elizabeth,Helena Bonham Carteras Princess Margaret andTobias Menziesas Prince Philip), she will take center stage for season four.

Since season three encompasses the time period of 1964 to 1976, and Princess Diana was born in 1961, we may catch a glimpse of the teenage princess at the end of the next installment. But in a recent interview withThe Hollywood Reporter,Pennyworth's Corrin opened up about preparing to play the Princess of Wales before season four's production begins in August, and reveals she's already begun the rigorous research required for taking on the role of the people's princess.

“当你reading about Diana, you want to sift all the bullshit from the truth," she toldTHR. Corrin said she was given biographies and footage to study, and was even connected with people who knew Diana well (*cough* the royal family, Prince William and哈里王子*cough*).

Corrin also revealed she'll work with a movement and voice coach in order to emulate the late Princess Di, but that the wig is the most tedious part. She dons a Diana-style wig for the part, and said it adds "an extra two hours in the makeup chair." Bloody heavens!

We just hope the costume designer gets theneon bike shortsout at some point...

The Crownseason three hits Netflix this fall.
