While the Western drama hasn't been officially renewed for a fifth season,Yellowstonefans still have a reason to celebrate, because a prequel series, titled1883,will be dropping on派拉蒙+on December 19 for streaming.
1883will not feature the regular cast members ofYellowstone, like凯文·科斯特纳,Luke GrimesandKelly Reilly. Instead, the prequel series will follow the lives of their characters' ancestors in the 19th century, with the lead roles being filled byTim McGraw,Faith HillandSam Elliott. (And yes, we are super excited to see thereal-life coupleof McGraw and Hill play husband and wife on the series). The show will follow these past members of the Dutton family as they travel to Montana to settle down and build a life for themselves.
