According toPeople, all three of them are currently finishing their last week of school before their summer break. So, instead of having the kids attend the second coronation, the Waleses decided to let them stay at home.

For the king’s first coronation, Princess Catherine and Prince Williams’s three children were in attendance. Apart from his younger siblings, Prince George had a very big role in the ceremony.

As his grandfather was crowned the new King of England, the 9-year-old (whoserved as a Page of Honour) made history as theyoungest future kingto ever have a role in such a ceremony. At the event, the prince wore a red military coat featuring gold buttons and a pair of white gloves.

Along with the other three pages, the young royal helped to carry the tail of the king’s robes as he entered Westminster Abbey.
