Princess Charlotte Just Low-Key Told Prince Louis to Chill With His Royal Wave

Well, given that fact, it only makes sense that she’d be the one low-key coaching Prince Louis on his waving skills while the Cambridge children (Prince George included) made theirroyal debut in the Trooping the Colour paradeto mark Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
The scene played out like this: You’ve got George, Charlotte and Louis riding in a horse-drawn carriage alongside their mother Kate Middleton and Camilla Parker-Bowles. All three were eagerly waving to the crowds, but intermittently. Then, in a moment when Charlotte chose to take a break, Louis kept enthusiastically waving—until Charlotte clamped her hand on top of his in a move that demonstrated,寒冷, Louis, chill.

Don’t worry. Louis—who is four years old—only paused for a second before he continued doing his thing, but we are here for the big sister energy and, as usual, Charlotte’s cool confidence and style. (Her blue dress with sheer sleeves by Patachou was equal parts elegant and sweet.)
Still, it reminded us of thatoh-so-meme-able moment from Trooping the Colour 2018when Savannah Phillips clapped her hand over George’s mouth from the balcony. Was he talking too much? Being royally annoying to his cousin? We’ll never know, but LOL.
Whew, what a kick-off to the weekend festivities. Let’s get this Platinum Jubilee party started.
