Gomez is currently the fourth most-followed account on Instagram, behind footballersCristiano Ronaldo(562 million) andLionel Messi(442 million). The most-followed account is theofficial Instagram profile, which has 618 million followers.

Gomez celebrated the achievement byposting the slideshowseen above. In the carousel, the “Love You Like a Love Song” singer poses with fans at various events. Gomez captioned the post: “Wishing I could hug all 400 million of you [heart emoji].”

Fellow celebs sent their congratulations to Gomez, like Jonathan Van Ness, who commented a series of heart-eyed emojis and wrote, “Aweee honey!!!” Actress Bea Alonzo wrote, “We love you, queen!!”

In February, theSelena + Chefstar passed Kylie Jenner to become the most-followed woman on Instagram. Jenner currently sits with an impressive 382 million followers.
