This is the week when July takes a turn for the intense and profound. The sweet new moon in Canceron the 17th offers a chance to go inward and reflect on where we’re going next. But this simplicity only lasts a moment.

There’s a heavy sense ofchanging fateas the lunar nodes switch signs on the 17th for the first time sinceJanuary 2022. The nodes bring eclipses and thus major beginnings and endings. As the nodes switch from fixed signs (Taurus and Scorpio) to cardinal signs (Aries and Libra), life’s big changes come at a much faster pace. Things that came uparound the solar eclipse in Aries on April 20thalso come back into focus this week.

Another big headline of the week isVenus goes retrogradein Leo on the 22nd through September 3rd. This long term transit (which lasts 40 days) is for letting our desires grow and change. This is a process of review and reflection. What we want at the beginning of the summer will not be what we want by summer’s end. Leo Season begins on the same day! So though things are complicated, it’s still necessary to make time to celebrate our favorite Leos from玛莎·斯图尔特toJennifer LawrencetoAngela Bassett.

(Horoscopes follow for each sign. If you know your rising sign, reading for that sign too will provide further insight.)
