She shared the vegan cheese sauce recipe to her account with the caption “EAT UR FEELINGS WITH ME: cheezy takis edition.” The videos kicks off with her dousing a bowl of Takis in the dip while she says, “My kitchen dirty and I’m scared and anxious, but I made cheesy Takis.”
While the following how-to is a more of a guideline than a strict recipe, it still seems simple enough to partially wing on the spot in a taste-as-you-go sort of way. How to Make Lizzo’s Vegan Cheese Sauce
Ingredients
- About ½ a Japanese yam
- A few cubes high-protein tofu
- White onion, diced
- Garlic, minced
- Nutritional yeast
- Dairy-free grated Parmesan cheese (Lizzo usesKelly’s Gourmet Cheezy Parm)
- Kosher salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- Hot sauce (Lizzo usesBounty & Full’s The Truth Habanero Hot Sauce)
- A few slices vegan smoked gouda cheese (Lizzo usesFollow Your Heart)
步骤1:Take a large pot and fill it halfway with water. Place the pot over high heat until the water begins to boil. Once it’s boiling, add the Japanese yam and cook until tender. Remove the yam and reserve about 1 cup of the water.
